Campy Ekar feedback?

I’d love to hear from someone with Ekar. What are your thoughts?

I can only give feedback on range usabiity, using a sram 1x11 converted to ekar cassette and chain.

I’d say it is the first allroad setup that don’t make me long for a double ring setup and both ride gravel and road without thinking about the jumps in the cassette.

My mechanic did a five day gravel stage race in Colombia using it. He said the brakes and shifting were perfect.
I have Chorus 12 hydraulic and they’re the best brakes I’ve ever used.

If the gearing works for you, go for it.

Ok, I’ll jump in. I’m riding Ekar on a Moots gravel bike, and I love it. So superior to the Force1 mech build it replaced, in every way.
To disclose my bias, I’m also riding Record 12 on a road bike, and I don’t have much experience with electronic groups.
Ekar was pretty easy to set up and dial in. In the rough I’ve never missed a shift or dropped a chain. Close spacing of the smaller cogs makes for smooth riding, I never find myself wishing for something in between. When it gets steep shifts are easy and smooth.
Hope that helps.
