My favorite road bike (that I own) is a Seven Axiom w/ Record 10 speed, and of course, rim brakes. I ride in Oregon and Washington, where it’s relatively hilly. Descents are starting to be a real drag on this bike, compared to my bikes with discs.
I’m looking for a new bike with discs and Chorus or Record. Custom is an option, tho I’m wondering who is offering off the shelf bikes with Campy. Cinelli, Wilier, De Rosa, and others offer what I’m looking for. Is there anyone else that I should be taking a look at? TIA!
Basso offer Chorus on the Astra and Diamante, I’m fairly sure. Mason will spec you Chorus.
Bianchi used to offer some Campy builds, but it looks like they don’t anymore. Pinarello seems to offer the Dogma F12 with an option for Super Record EPS.
De Rosa and Cipollini are available with Campagnolo.
Thanks everyone for the responses. It’s good to see a few bikes that do ship with Campy components. Leaning towards custom at the moment, given the prices of the above.
A new Diamante has been launched just yesterday only with discs of course and a Campy option is included.
Canyon used to it, DK if they still do.
Slightly randomly, budget bike and open mould specialists Planet X offer Chorus 12 speed or Ekar versions of all their disc brake bikes.
Thanks for the responses, everyone. After looking at the paltry local offerings of Campy-equipped bikes, I’ve decided to go the custom route.
Last time I looked, Planet X didn’t offer shimano builds
General components shortages means that there’s no Shimano groupsets in the dusty corner of the warehouse where I assume Planet X source all their parts from.
